There is plenty of hotels in Venice
(about 350 in Greater Venice, of which approximately 10% in Venice-Lido),
but
as with one of the prime cultural and tourist destinations in
the World you may expect Venice to be booked throughout the year. We
strongly
encourage early reservations by participants and their accompanying persons.
The official Recomb06 Booking Agent is Venezia Congressi.

A number of hotels have allotted blocks of rooms at special rates for RECOMB through Venezia Congressi, among those
The Excelsior Hotel (adiacent to the conference venue) and
Des Bains Hotel,
both Starwood Company. All of these hotels are 15 minutes walking distance from the Cinema Palace at Venice Convention Center -- the
Conference Venue. Public transportation is available.
Venezia Congressi will assign you to the hotel you request or propose the next available hotel which is closest to your specs, based on availability at the time of booking.
Internet connectivity is available at the Excelsior, des Bains and Quattro
Fontane. Please inquire with your Reception as to access mode, rules and charges.
Other hotels may offer connection under various service agreements. A Hot
Spot for wireless connection will be working in the back rows of the Conference
Hall.
If you prefer to book yourself, we recommend that before placing a reservation you fetch a map of the area and check the hotel displacement from the conference site.
