HOW TO REACH VENICE-LIDO
If you arrive BY AIR
Venice International Airport "Marco Polo" is connected to Lido by:
- Public water service "Alilaguna" (red and blue line) running every 30 min.
The duration of the trip is approx. 1 hour. Fare € 10,00 per person. Tickets may be purchased at the kiosk in the arrival hall or on board. Information:

- Private taxi boat Airport/Lido. The duration of the trip is approx. 30min.
Average fare € 78,00 for up to 6 persons + luggage.
If you arrive BY TRAIN
From "Santa Lucia" railway station you can reach LIDO by:
- Public boat service Line 51 to Lido. Fare € 3,50 per person or luggage. Duration: 38 min.
- Public boat service Line 1 through Grand canal. € 5,00 per person.
Duration:53min.
- Taxi boat: approx. € 67,00 for up to 6 persons + luggage
The boat terminals and ticket kiosk are in front of the train station exit.
If you arrive BY CAR
You may decide to leave the car in Venice in a public parking lot or take the car with you to Lido. Depending on the hotel you choose, you may not need a car in LIDO.
- If you leave the car in Venice in the garage at Piazzale Roma, the cost is
€ 20 per day. You can book parking on line at www.urbislimen.net. From Piazzale Roma use public transportation to reach Lido by one of the following options:
- Public Boat service Lines 51 or 61 to Lido. € 3,50 per person or luggage. Duration :33 min.
- Public Boat service Line 1 through Grand canal. € 5,00 per person. Duration:56 min.
- Taxi boat: approx. € 67,00 for up to 6 persons+ luggage.
- To take your car to LIDO, take the Ferry boat at the end of the bridge
which links Venice to the mainland, follow the sign to "Tronchetto/Ferry to
Lido". The ferry departs every 50 min. from 6.40am to 7.10 pm, after that it
departs at: 7.55pm, 8.40, 9.25, 10.10, 10.55, 11.40, 0.25. The average fare one
way covering car and driver € 21 ( € 3,50 for each additional person).
From Saint Mark Square
The island of Lido is at 15 min boat distance from Saint Mark sq. Departures every few minutes. Car taxis and buses are available from boats terminal in Lido to any destination.

Public transportation in Venice is operated by ACTV water buses.
